Tuberculosis, Hepatitis C, HIV?

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is believed that this is a disease of the lungs, but in fact, tuberculosis can affect almost all human organs.

SYMPTOMS OF TUBERCULOSIS:

  • сough lasting more than two weeks
  • weight loss
  • anorexia
  • tired
  • chest pain
  • weakness
  • fever

The Treatment of hepatitis in Poland

Hepatitis is an acute or chronic disease affecting the liver. A specific virus causes hepatitis. Most often, these are hepatitis A, B, and C, but the greatest danger is hepatitis C.

Those are the ways of transmission of hepatitis C:

  • The virus can be contracted through blood during drug injections, dangerous injections, blood transfusions, etc.
  • It is also possible to become infected during unprotected sexual contact if contaminated material is found in the semen.
  • From mother to child, during pregnancy and childbirth. It is not transmitted through breast milk.

 

HOW TO PASS AN HIV TEST in Poland?

There are several options for HIV transmission:

  • During intercourse without a condom
  • By sharing or re-using syringes and needles, as well as during the use of drugs or medical manipulations
  • Through piercings and tattoos
  • From HIV-infected mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

REGULAR HIV TESTING IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SEXUALLY ACTIVE OR ENGAGED IN RISK BEHAVIOUR.
